Well we are down to less than 4-6 weeks until baby Aaron & Bella are expected to be here! This really is exciting and nerve racking because I am so ready to not be pregnant anymore but I'm scared to death about caring for 3 children especially two infants at once.
Jaden just celebrated her 3rd birthday on August 1st! She was so good and had so much fun and got spoiled rotten. She got everything Dora or Princesses! She also got a very neat art desk and supplies which is great because they'll help keep her entertained when her brother and sister arrive. If you ask her how old she is now she says "3 minutes" that is because her timeout time has now been moved from 2 to 3 minutes. She also has a new fascination with imagination play and story telling. She will lay out in the grass or on her trampoline and tell stories and she plays house with her baby dolls too. She is going to be a great big sister!!!
Justin and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary on July 22nd! It seems like just yesterday we got married...and now here we are married for 4 years and about to have 3 children! We had a fun anniversary we went to dinner, a movie and for ice cream! It was a fun night! Then the next morning we had to get up early for a 4-H event....lol nice planning.
Well we recently had an ultrasound to monitor Aaron & Bella and found out that Aaron David weighs 4lbs8oz and Bella Ann weighs 4lbs11oz. Which makes them suspect that they will weigh 7+lbs at birth!!! This is exciting and terrifying...lol...exciting because they won't be so tiny when they arrive and not so scary to hold but terrifying because that means 14+lbs of baby that I have to carry around...I'm already carrying 10+lbs around now and am miserable. I'm now seeing the doctor once a week instead of every two weeks like I have been for much of the pregnancy so I'm really getting familiar with them in the office!!! Soon they will be setting the c-section date and I'm hoping that we make it to that date and they don't decide to come earlier. Right now I'm one day shy of being 33weeks! And the c-section will be planned for around 38 weeks.
Well I think that is about all I have for now!

Updates
Well this last couple of weeks has been quite exciting...or hecktic.
Two weeks ago we had 4-H meetings and dairy days. Last week we had 4-H meetings, ranch rodeos and MVDHP learning days and heifer clipping. Which all means that was alot of outdoors time for me in the heat and walking and standing. After all of this I ended up in the hospital on Saturday night with contractions that had to be stopped with meds. Not a fun experience. So now I'm really having to stop and smell the roses or as Justin says "slow the hell down". Which is very hard for me to do and really hard during the summer.
So on Wed. I have a doctor appt where they are going to measure Aaron & Bella to see that they are growing correctly and one is not to big compared to the other. Then they'll look at my cervix to make sure it is cooperating. Now if my cervix is not cooperating I'll be on bed rest the remaining time of the pregnancy if it is cooperating I may be able to get along without extreme bed rest. So I hope it all goes well.
This pregnacny is taking more out of me than I could have ever imagined. It is crazy especially to feel two babies move around in my belly. And even crazier to watch.
Well that is my update for today...

Wilks Twins
Ok. So it has been quite a while since I've posted anything. So here goes with some updates.
The twins are growing so much. My body is changing and that must mean the babies are growing well! Aaron & Bella are moving around like crazy. Actually as I sit here right now I'm watching my belly protrude in areas and change shape in others. It is defiantly different than only being pregnant with one. It is crazy when I see one side protrude with a foot and then the other side...almost to much for words. At our most recent ultrasound Aaron weighed in at 14oz and Bella at 15oz. Which means that approx. birth weight will be 5-6lbs. MUCH smaller than Jaden at 9lbs 5oz. They measure good and are growing correctly for this stage. So that makes us all VERY happy!!!
Jaden is loving watching my belly grow and loves to feel and hear them. She will lay her head on my belly and listen and sometimes she is kicked and she'll turn to my belly and say bad babies. It is too cute. She loves to tell people about her baby brother and sister. I really think she is going to make an amazing big sister!!!
Justin is liking to finally feel the babies move and when we are laying in bed he will wrap his hands around my belly for hours and just feel them move. Justin has been working nights and is doing pretty well with it and Jaden and I have adjusted finally.
Recently Justin's parents came and visited for a few days and we had a blast with them! It was so nice to have them visit and to have Mary's medical advice while they were here. As with the crazy things the twins are doing to my body I need all the advice I can get. I just wish they wouldn't have brought so many sweets here as I ate alot of them and I'm sure at my next appt. I'm going to have gained a TON so I'm blaming it on Mary & Al. LOL!!!!
Well I think that is about all the updates I have for the moment!

From a family of 3 to 5!!
Ok so in my last post I joked about there being Twins. Well come to find out there are! LOL! Can life get any more crazy for us!
I was having some cramping that I was concerned about so I contacted the doctor and they had me come in to look at two things. They were looking to be sure the baby was not in the fallopian tubes and to make sure I wasn't miscarrying. Well neither of those were the case. I have a large cyst about the size of a large chicken egg on my right ovary and I have rapid uterine growth because there are two babies growing inside of me!
My due date is September 27, 2010 but the doctors won't let me go any further than September 12/13 because of my previous c-section and twins. So I can only pray we don't have these babies early as twins are known for arriving early.
I'm sad that because of twins now I'll be limited on my activities this summer. I was still hoping to help out with my 4-H kids and there projects but don't know if I'll be able to do so as I'm going to have to take it extra easy so these babies don't arrive early. This will be very difficult for me.
So my morning sickness has greatly increased since my last post as well. It took a little while for it to show it's ugly head. It is not as severe as it was with Jaden but it is not fun. I'm having a really rough time with my sleep habits. I'm trying to adjust to sleeping more because if I don't get enough sleep then I get sick as well...yuck.
I'm now 10 weeks and 6 days and showing quite well already....I'm going to be HUGE.
Justin is now working nights at Glanbia, not in a truck thank god. But he has taken the intake coordinator job for nights. It was less days to work and more money...can't beat that. He is now only working 14 days a month instead of 20 or so. Adjusting to him not being here at nights has been something new but I'm slowly adjusting. It'll be nice when the babies are here for him to be able to be up on the nights he is off work!
Jaden, oh my gosh! She is so funny these days. That personality just keeps growing and growing. Her vocabulary is also growing! The other day she came up to me and said "I Jaden Wilks, you Mommy Wilks and that baby Wilks" while pointing at the correct thing every time. It was so cute! I don't know if she 100% comprehends that she is going to be a big sister times 2 or not but she does like to ask about the babies in my belly and rub her belly to see if she also has a baby. I think it will be neat for her when the babies are moving and she can feel it from the outside.
Oh by the way I am starting to feel the babies move already. I've been feeling it for a little over a week. At first I thought I was just hallucinating but I really think it is the babies. I read online that your supposed to be able to feel multiples earlier on. I'm just feeling the butterfly flutter movements but it is still so cool!
Lets see anything else happening at the Wilks Home lately?...Hattie our doe goat gave birth to Twins in late February. She had twin boys. They are cute! We gave away Cheif to a friend so he doesn't re breed Hattie right now. My 3 Jerseys, Printessa, Priscilla & Precious all had there babies in Jan/Feb. We got two bulls and one heifer, Prudence, Prince & Ping! They are cute. The bulls Prince and Ping seem to keep getting sick on me though so I hope they can make it over the sickness and be OK. Thankfully the heifer has remained pretty healthy all the way. *Knock on wood*. We are waiting on Jaden's cow, Magazine, to calve any day. Hopefully Jaden gets her first heifer calf! Well I think that is all the updates I have!

Here it comes!
Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 11:45AM we found out we were expecting baby #2! We have been trying for baby #2 since March 2009 with no luck and had officially given up on thinking we'd have one anytime soon. We were starting to plan the 2010 fair season for 4-H and prepare for what the rest of 2010 held for the Wilks Family! Then while preparing for Justin's work party I thought I'll take a test to see if I should drink tonight...well needless to say I didn't drink that night! Even though we've been waiting it still came as a bit of a shock! Justin is going "great now all those hunting trips I have planned aren't going to happen"! Life comes when you least expect it I guess!
So baby #2 is due late September or early October, I'm putting my money down on mid-late September because of doing the c-section. My first doctors appointment is scheduled for Feb. 17th! Justin and Jaden will both be there and hopefully at that point we'll be able to hear the heartbeat.
So far, so good! I've not yet had too much morning sickness like I did with Jaden and I'm feeling pretty "quiet"! I can only hope this pregnancy is MUCH easier than with Jaden. I am a little nervous about the fact that we found out I was pregnant so soon. I was 7.5 to 8 weeks along with Jaden before I got a positive pregnancy test and with this one I was 3.5 to 4 weeks...WOW! Hopefully that doesn't mean something like Twins...oh no....
Well there should be lots of pregnancy posts to come as well as Jaden's thoughts...which for the most part right now are "I don't like it", but that is her thought on everything! She is 2.5 years old and going on 16. We are doomed!!!!!
